I’ve been thinking about doing a blog for some time now. Several months ago I was searching for tips on an Amy Butler Weekender Bag I was about to begin making. I found a blog (can’t remember where now) that documented the person’s journey while making this bag. I say “journey” because that is what it was…it’s a love hate relationship with that bag. First I hated it (while making it), then I loved it (after using it)…and I’m almost ready to try another one.
Anyway, I digress, which is common. So…I thought it was cool that I could benefit from her experiences on the bag and avoid at least a few wounds along the way. Then I thought…how fun would it be to talk about the things I’m making…not only the items for my website (http://www.vintagesusie.com/), but also those that just strike my fancy. My husband would be thrilled to not have to hear the story about the barkcloth I found and the four people who owned it before me…and so on (I love the history of things). So…here I am!
What can you find here? You can find my ramblings, my latest and greatest finds (vintage chandelier post & pics coming soon), and new products as they come to life.
